THE ROTARY FAIR
Twickenham upon Thames Rotary Club is very pleased to announce that The Rotary Fair on Twickenham Green will be back this year on 27th May. The goal is the same as always: to enable local charities and good causes to run stalls at the Fair, riase funds and publicise their work, whilst creating a fun day out for families and everyone of all ages and abilities living or working in the Twickenham area.
If any funds are raised by us through running The Rotary Fair, they will be donated to the Rotary Club of Twickenham upon Thames Trust Fund - Charity Number 276901, to be used purely for the purposes of supporting charitable projects at home and in the wider world. Have a look at our website for more information about Rotary and our Club www.tutrotary.org.

YOUR PITCH AREA
Each pitch area is no wider than 5 metres. You will be sent a map showing the location of your pitch area identified by its number.
You need to bring your own gazebo or plastic cover, tables and chairs.
YOUR STALL
It is in all our interests to have a high quality Fair. Please choose items of good quality and interest to sell.
Think about our environment – see our page about the ethos of the Fair!
No alcoholic drinks, electrical items or sharp implements, toy guns or weapons can be given away or sold anywhere on The Rotary Fair site.
If you intend to sell or give away food, there are extra documents you will need to supply such as your Hygiene Certificate. These are specified within the Terms & Conditions we will send you when you apply.
Please note we are only allowed to have a few food stalls and preference will be give to those who historically sold food at the Hands Fair.
If you intend to sell or give away cold food, please ensure it is pre-packaged individually.
It is a family orientated day, so please try to have a simple competition or amusement for children in addition to your stall, eg guess the weight of a cake, name a doll, throw quoits, face painting, treasure hunt etc. Have you tried a human fruit machine?
Or instead of a stall you may like to organise a side show – puppet show, fancy dress competition, conjuring etc.
Please keep your area clear of litter. You must take all your rubbish home at the end of the Event.
And finally, be aware - please ensure all monies are kept in a safe place – out of reach!

Please let us know how well you do. It is good to know how successful you feel the day has been for you. We are open to suggestions and ideas too.
We would like to express our thanks to HANDS and to Maureen Payan in particular for their excellent organisation and running of The Hands Charities Fair since its inauguration in 1981.
The ethos of Rotary International throughout the world is to help Charities and good causes in their endeavours to support their communities and running The Rotary Fair will therefore fit well with the goals of Twickenham upon Thames Rotary Club.
